Poem on Ulna Bone

ANATOMY AIIMS, GROSS ANATOMY, EMBRYOLOGY, NEUROANATOMY, MICROANATOMY, APPLIED/ CLINICAL ANATOMY
The ulna bone, so slender and long,
A stalwart bone, that keeps us strong,
From elbow to wrist, it lends its might,
A noble bone, that guides us right.
With its olecranon process, a gentle curve,
It forms the elbow, a pivot to serve,
With its trochlear notch, it fits the humerus bone,
A perfect joint, that helps us atone.
The coronoid process, a slender projection,
A vital part, of elbow protection,
The ulnar tuberosity, where muscles converge,
A convergence of strength, that we can urge.
As we move down the arm, the ulna bone,
Provides stability, a solid stone,
With the interosseous membrane, a thin partition,
It binds the bones together, a perfect rendition.
The head of the ulna, a key player,
Articulates with the radius, a perfect layer,
The styloid process, a slender tip,
A fine design, that never quits.
The ulna bone, a wonder to behold,
A vital part, of the human mold,
A bone so strong, and yet so fine,
A testament to our form's design.
So let us honor this bone, this work of art,
And keep it healthy, strong, and smart,
For with each movement, we honor its name,
And the wonder of our body's anatomical game.
The ulna bone, a pillar of strength,
A bone so thin, but of a great length,
With muscles attached, it performs with might,
A testament to the human form's exquisite sight.
The triceps brachii, a powerful flexor,
Attaches to the ulna, like a skilled constructor,
The anconeus muscle, a graceful reflector,
Attaches to the ulna, like a skilled director.
The flexor carpi ulnaris, a skilled navigator,
Attaches to the ulna, like a perfect accelerator,
The extensor carpi ulnaris, a skilled collaborator,
Attaches to the ulna, like a perfect collaborator.
The pronator teres, a skilled coordinator,
Attaches to the ulna, like a perfect collaborator,
The pronator quadratus, a skilled manipulator,
Attaches to the ulna, like a perfect indicator.
As we move down the arm, the ulna bone glides,
With muscles attached, it serves as our guide,
A symphony of motion, with perfect grace,
Enabling us to move and take our place.
The ulna bone, a testament to our form,
With muscular attachments, it weathers the storm,
So let us cherish this bone, this work of art,
And keep it healthy, strong, and a vital part.
The ulna bone, a slender tower,
Can break with force, in a sudden hour,
A painful injury, a test of might,
That can limit movement, cause a plight.
A distal ulna fracture, a common thing,
A break in the lower end, that can sting,
It can cause instability, and wrist pain,
And limit movement, like a ball and chain.
A midshaft ulna fracture, a tricky break,
A break in the middle, that can shake,
It can cause deformity, and nerve damage too,
A complex injury, that can be hard to subdue.
An olecranon fracture, a painful plight,
A break in the elbow, that can cause a fright,
It can cause instability, and nerve damage too,
A complex injury, that can cause you to rue.
A Monteggia fracture, a complex affair,
A break in the ulna, that can cause despair,
With dislocation of the radial head,
A painful injury, that can fill one with dread.
The fractures of the ulna bone,
A painful reality, that's rarely known,
So let us take care, and avoid the fray,
And keep our bones, healthy and at bay.
